From Craft to Elegance: Our 2ft Rectangular Marble Bowl in Action at a Mumbai Hotel

 

At Rameshwaram Marble, every handcrafted piece tells a story. Recently, we had the pleasure of creating a custom 2ft rectangular marble bowl for a luxurious hotel in Mumbai. This order was special — not just for its size, but because it was part of a set of four, designed to grace the hotel’s entryway with timeless elegance.

Crafting the Statement Piece

The journey began in our Udaipur workshop, where each slab of white marble was carefully selected for its smooth texture and pristine finish. The rectangular shape demanded precision and attention to detail, ensuring clean lines and perfect symmetry. Our artisans meticulously polished and shaped each bowl, making sure it would not only serve as a decorative piece but also exude luxury and sophistication.

                                               

Preparing for Dispatch

Once the bowls were ready, we took special care in packaging and dispatch. Large, delicate pieces like this require extra padding and secure packing to withstand the journey from Udaipur to Mumbai. We coordinated closely with the hotel’s team to ensure safe and timely delivery. There’s always a little thrill in waiting for a custom order to reach its destination — after all, it’s the moment when months of hard work are finally put to use.

Seeing Our Work in Its New Home

The most exciting moment came when the hotel shared pictures of the bowls in use at their entryway. Seeing the bowls filled with floating candles and flowers, welcoming guests with charm and elegance, was incredibly satisfying. There’s a unique joy in seeing a handcrafted piece transition from a workshop to a lifestyle setting, bringing ambiance and personality to a space.
