In this week's Workshop Wednesday, we take you behind the scenes to witness the transformation of raw marble into three beautiful, handcrafted pieces: an elephant sculpture, a Tulsi pot, and a decorative planter.

Let’s walk through the artistry and meaning behind each.

🐘 1. The Elephant Sculpture: A Symbol of Strength and Grace

The journey begins with a solid block of marble. Our artisans first sketch the rough outline of the elephant — a revered symbol in Indian culture that represents wisdom, strength, and prosperity. Then comes the chiseling — slow, deliberate strokes that reveal the curves of the trunk, the texture of the ears, and the power of its form.

                                    


Each detail, from the ornamentation to the posture, is done by hand. No two sculptures are ever the same, because no two hands create in the same way.

🌿 2. The Tulsi Pot: A Vessel of Devotion

Next, we capture the shaping of a Tulsi pot, a fixture in many Indian homes where the sacred Tulsi (holy basil) plant is grown. The pot is not just functional — it’s spiritual.

Carved with a raised base, beveled edges, and sometimes subtle engravings, our Tulsi pots reflect reverence. From rim to base, every inch is polished by hand, with a special focus on durability and aesthetics, as they’re often placed in outdoor temple corners or home courtyards.

🌱 3. The Planter: Where Nature Meets Design
